My husband and I spent 2 weeks travelling through Malawi by public transport. While Lake Malawi is calm and beautiful, travelling on public transport is not. Overcrowded busses and minivans, misleading destination signs on minivans and puppies vomiting on us were just some of the thrills we had. Everyone is happy, the music is deafening and you pray you will arrive alive as the minivan driver attempts to break the land speed record!
